Conversational artificial intelligence (AI) platforms are used very actively by the banks to automate customer support and provide more convenient customer experience. At the moment we see chatbots mainly in financial services for private individuals, but we expect banks to catch up soon in SME Banking as well.

Here’s how the world’s biggest banks are using chatbots to boost their business.

Bank of America

presented at last year’s Money20/20 conference the launch of their cgatbot called Erica

offers a chatbot on Facebook Messenger. The service is powered by Kasisto chat builder:

DBS Singapore

Digibank by DBS, Asia’s only digital-only bank, offers customers a 24/7 virtual assistant within the bank’s mobile app

Capital One

launched the chatbot which helps customers manage their money using their smartphone

Chatbot for SME customers was launched last year by Tochka Bank in Russia

Using Facebook Messenger customers – legal entities and private entrepreneurs – can receive answers regarding branches & ATM location, check account balance, communicate with support service and even are able to do payment transfers.
